Vacancy description

The job role offered is that of a tech support operative. Your job role will vary vastly around IT support. You will also physically visit customer sites to support with whatever is needed (travel will be provided by the company). With full training you will be able to offer:

Main duties:

  • Server support
  • Remote support
  • Home services
  • Networking
  • VOIP systems
  • Cloud hosting

Working week: Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm

Wage: £3.90 per hour, depending on previous experience this can and will be revised at the interview stage.

Expected apprenticeship duration: 13 months

Skills Required

  • Basic IT
  • Microsoft packages such as Word, Outlook, and Excel

  • Reliable
  • Supportive
  • Able to work well within a team and on own
  • Physically fit, as some work will require you to be setting up wired networks over large distances and there will be some (ADSL) cable pulling involved

Future full-time employment is likely upon completion.
