Job Title: HR Assistant               

Reporting to: Finance/HR Manager

Location: Chester le Street

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

Purpose of role

To effectively support HR and payroll team, delivering HR support, namely references, candidate supervisions, processing DBS applications and updating documentation to CRM system. Working in accordance to the Organisation’s values and beliefs. 

Key Tasks

  • To achieve and exceed all HR and business administration activities.
  • To process all staff DBS applications and keep the bookings team up to date with staff coming through the recruitment pipeline.
  • To work effectively with the recruitment team, ensure all potential candidate information is up to date and we have the correct right to work documentation.
  • To conduct staff appraisals and supervisions, collate information and report to the HR management team.
  • To implement and demonstrate a high-level customer service ethos to ensure potential candidates and staff are dealt with promptly and with the highest level of professionalism on every occasion.
  • To ensure that any candidate concerns, or complaints received are dealt with in the correct and appropriate manner and that the Senior Management Team are kept updated.
  • To ensure that all office systems LOGEZY are managed and maintained, including Staff Recruitment Files.
  • To assist with the on-boarding process of all new starters joining Medsolve.
  • To work closely with, and provide support to, the Recruitment Manager as required, in a flexible and responsive way and to take on additional responsibility in the absence of line manager as agreed in advance for personal development and mentorship.
  • To assist in any legislation changes and implementing them in the business.
  • To conduct daily, weekly and monthly compliance checks and provide regular updates and notes onto the LOGEZY bookings CRM system.
  • Assisting with the payroll team when needed.

Desirable: Healthcare experience
