Salary: £6 per hour / higher than National Apprenticeship Wage

About the Role:
Family butchers based in Ravensworth, North Yorkshire, who are currently looking to hire an Apprentice Commis Chef.Driving isn’t a requirement for the job, however due to the location of the business – driving with your own transport will be a big help!
- Food preparation
- Cutting, chopping, etc
- In line with portion sizes
- Plating up
- Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy
- Assisting with stock rotation and usage / storage
- Keeping work areas clean

- An interest in food in general
You will be visited on a monthly basis by your tutor and complete work and tasks set and time will be provided within 20% off the job training which will support you. This company are looking for the right candidate to start ASAP and future full-time employment is likely once you have completed your apprenticeship. Pay will start off at £6 per hour and you will have the opportunity to increase this during performance reviews during your apprenticeship.
As part of the apprenticeship, you will need to complete your Functional skills if you do not already have your Maths and English at GCSE Level.
You will complete Commis Chef Level 2 as part of the role, the training will be provided by Optimum skills.
