About the company

This company covers the counties of Northumberland and Durham, together with the metropolitan areas of Tyne and Wear, and the towns that make up the Tees Valley area. It is a popular and prolific area for auction sales and runs from offices in Gateshead and Middlesbrough. We take entries from in and around Newcastle and downriver to North Shields, Whitley Bay and South Shields; we service the Sunderland area too and Washington. Inland we cover Hexham, Consett, Durham and Bishop Auckland. Our Tees Valley team list auction lots in Middlesbrough and Stockton-on-Tees, inland to Darlington and in the coastal areas of Hartlepool and Redcar. We specialise in residential, tenanted investment sales by auction and commercial.

Main duties:

  • Answering incoming calls – mostly from customers wanting to book onto the auction. Along with enquires
  • Making outbound calls
  • Actioning and replying emails
  • Creating invoices and following up on previously sent invoices
  • Filing and faxing support
  • Keeping work area clean and tidy

Working week: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5:30pm

Expected apprenticeship duration: 13 months

Wage: £3.90 per hour
