We are joining Alanis again for ‘A Week in the Life of an Apprentice.’ This morning Alanis accepted the stationery order from the delivery person. Alanis and Chloe have been working together to put everything away, sorting them into the correct place so that the Optimum Skills staff can find any stationary they need.
Alanis is also sometimes required to mark the functional skills tests which are given to learners when they join a course. For this task, Alanis has the answer sheet and goes through the test checking what is right and wrong. Finally looking to see what level each learner is at to feedback to the tutor and lead generator.
This afternoon Alanis has been supporting Sian, who is Head of Delivery at Optimum. Quality assessment documents are sorted into the relevant folders by Alanis, as required. These are then sent back to Sian by Alanis, to be checked, before being put into the management drive.
Alanis has also been assisting Mark, Client Relationship Manager, in creating packs to go out to all current apprentices.
Alanis joined Optimum Skills from the traineeship programme in Newton Aycliffe. She was successful when applying for an apprenticeship with Optimum Skills! We currently have new opportunities to join the Optimum Skills traineeship programme, contact us to find out more.
